bleh

I am feeling so uninspired lately with all this not having a job nonsense. I now know what my mom felt like back in the 80s and 90s when she would come home from interviews saying they told her she was overqualified. I never got that. But now that I have heard it myself, I get it. It just means, “You made too much money at your last job and we can’t pay you nearly as much.” But I say in my cover letter that I want to START with a good stable company and work my way up. This is so frustrating!

Sorry for the few and far between blogs. I’ve been trying to set up some shoots with new models but I’m not getting very far because I’m not very inspired. :(

i have an idea. there are some websites that sell what are called micro stock photos. professional stock photography can cost anywhere from $100-5000 or more depending on the size and what it is. micro stock photography usually ranges from a few bucks to $50 each and isn’t exclusive, meaning you can sell the same picture to a lot of people. basically, you sign up at a website as a contributor, and they set you up with a page. you go out and take pictures of things that are in demand (they provide a list) and post them on your page with tags, so they are easily searchable. you can make good money and get your name out there at the same time. now that you aren’t working this would be a great time to go around and take lots of fun stock photos!
