i have an idea. there are some websites that sell what are called micro stock photos. professional stock photography can cost anywhere from $100-5000 or more depending on the size and what it is. micro stock photography usually ranges from a few bucks to $50 each and isn't exclusive, meaning you can sell the same picture to a lot of people. basically, you sign up at a website as a contributor, and they set you up with a page. you go out and take pictures of things that are in demand (they provide a list) and post them on your page with tags, so they are easily searchable. you can make good money and get your name out there at the same time. now that you aren't working this would be a great time to go around and take lots of fun stock photos!
