I did some photos for my friend’s shop, Garage Tuning. These are for a kit he’s selling.
I was able to use my snoot on my on-camera 580EX II flash for most of them. I bounced it off the white background. And then I handheld the 430EX to light the front of the parts.
There really is nothing out there worth while. Everyone keeps telling me to get a temp job but I am making more on unemployment and I can spend my time looking for work instead of working for some company for 10 bucks an hour. Oh yeah, I got unemployment. I was really worried I wouldn’t because of their crazy “quarter” system. They start you off with a base pay from like 15 months before you file a claim. I wasn’t sure if I had started my last job before then or not. But anyway, I got it, and it will help a lot.
Dance class is going really well! I’m having so much fun with my adult class. They really seem to be having a good time so that makes it all that much better. I have a full class every night.
I have a car photo shoot coming up next weekend that I am really excited about. It’s going to be at the beach down near San Clemente. I’ll post pictures when it’s done.
I lost my job on Monday. Blog posts will be few and far between right now as I am spending all my time trying to find another job. There is nothing out there for photographers. I’m kind of in a pickle at the moment.

Travis and I bought a motorcycle this week. It’s so exciting! It’s a 2008 Honda CBR600RR, matte black. We got it so we could save on gas and also have another form of transportation. Travis has been working on his car for weeks now (installing a new turbo kit) so I have been taking to him to and picking him up from work. Now I don’t have to anymore, ha ha. He has the bike. When I work up the courage, he’s going to teach me to ride it. WooHoo!
I took family photos yesterday of some good friends of mine. Here’s just a teaser photo. I’ve got LOTS more to edit.
I really need to get out more. I have only been taking pictures of the animals lately.
